Her clinical practice focuses on anxiety, depression, life adjustments, self-esteem, and communication skills. Johnetta has worked with child welfare, social services, and behavior intervention organizations. She is passionate about helping individuals deal with their mental health challenges and improving their quality of life.
She believes that therapy and the process of change require clients to be engaged and willing to incorporate what they learn in session into their everyday lives. She uses Motivational Interviewing and the 5 stages of change to support this process.
