About The Clinician
Krista received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bowie State University and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, DC Campus. She is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC).
Krista’s experience working with children began during their undergraduate years as an intern at a nonprofit organization. She worked with children experiencing various disorders such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and anger/behavioral problems. During her graduate school internship, she worked with children, teens, and adults struggling with family trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, attachment issues, relationship issues, and co-occurring disorders.
In her clinical practice, they focus on working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, family and generational trauma, childhood trauma, self-esteem issues, ADHD, and stress.
