With a belief in the transformative power of therapy, Lauren supports clients in discovering their personal “ah-ha” moments, empowering them to move through difficulties with clarity and resilience.

Lauren’s academic training and professional experience have been extensive, covering a diverse array of areas within the field. Her academic career and professional journey have exposed her to couples and family counseling, career counseling, group counseling, counseling theory, diagnosis and assessment, among other vital components. Notably, she is also Prepare and Enrich certified.

Blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness theory, and a Humanistic approach, Lauren helps clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a thoughtful, intentional way. CBT is used to help individuals identify and change negative thought patterns, providing practical tools to address challenges like anxiety and depression. Mindfulness theory is integrated to promote present-moment awareness, helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their inner experiences while learning to respond to them with compassion and acceptance.

The Humanistic approach underpins Lauren’s belief in the innate potential of each person to grow, heal, and find fulfillment. Lauren also deeply values diversity and inclusivity. She is firmly committed to fostering an environment where cultural differences are not merely acknowledged but celebrated. Her aim is to assist individuals in navigating the multifaceted intersections of their identities while fostering mutual understanding and respect. By honoring each client’s unique identity, Lauren fosters a space where individuals can explore their concerns and achieve personal growth in a way that is authentic to them.

Through a combination of evidence-based practices and a deep respect for the uniqueness of each individual, Lauren is committed to guiding clients toward a more fulfilling, balanced life with self-compassion, mindfulness, and emotional resilience
