About The Clinician
Phillip earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southeastern University and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Messiah University, anticipated in 2025.
Phillip has gained experience working with non-profit organizations that support troubled youth and adult men recovering from substance abuse. His work has provided him with a strong foundation in helping individuals navigate challenges and find hope in difficult circumstances. Phillip’s areas of focus include interpersonal and family dynamics, attachment issues, anxiety, and trauma. He has experience addressing emotional, physical, and sexual trauma and works primarily with adolescents, families, and adult men.
Phillip takes a holistic and thoughtful approach to counseling, drawing inspiration from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy. He believes in helping clients explore their thoughts and patterns while guiding them to uncover meaning and purpose in their lives. Phillip is looking forward to refining his methodology throughout the duration of his internship.
Phillip’s ideal clients are individuals who have encountered challenges in their lives and are motivated to make positive changes. He is particularly equipped to assist with cognitive distortions, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts, and family relationships. Phillip is dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate life’s obstacles and work toward growth and healing.
