About The Clinician

Tiye earned her undergraduate degree from Capella University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health at Capella University.

Tiye has experience working in a plethora of mental health environments, including suicide and crisis chat/text counseling, psychiatric rehabilitation, assertive community treatment, and Autism based Applied Behavioral Analysis. Tiye has worked extensively with individuals from all walks of life experiencing distressing times. Tiye believes that it is essential to identify dysfunctional behaviors and thoughts, changing them to functional practices that promote a stability and balance within the clients life, self acceptance, autonomy, self reliance.

Tiye bases her approach on Cognitive and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapies, hoping to make the lives of her clients more balanced and comfortable by helping them pinpoint and shift their dysfunctional behaviors and thought patterns.

Tiye’s ideal clients are children, teens, young adults, and women. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate comorbid or somatic health issues, as well as mental disorders. Additionally, she feels well-equipped to handle clients struggling with a multitude of issues, and works alongside her clients to help them combat their thoughts and behaviors.
