About The Clinician

Chelsea is a Licensed Social Worker with a concentration in working with children and families. She received her BA in Psychology from Fort Valley State University and her MSW, with a concentration in Children & Families, from Clark Atlanta University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Social Work at Howard University. Her interests include domestic violence, women’s health, and trauma related issues.

Chelsea has experience working with nonprofit organizations for survivors and perpetrators of intimate partner violence and nonprofit advocacy focused on supportive services for sexual assault survivors. Although she has worked with a variety of populations, she is passionate about helping individuals deal with their traumas, attachment issues, and internal struggles.

She believes that therapy and the process of change is a constant reminder that your life’s journey is beautifully unique and special.

Her ideal clients are: children, teens, and families that have experienced trauma, household dysfunction, and disruptions in their relationships with loved ones. She also enjoys serving survivors or victims of domestic violence and people who have perpetrated violence in their intimate relationships.
